U-M cancelled classes on Tuesday, Jan. 28, due to excessively cold temperatures. This is the first time U-M has called a snow day (or a cold day) in Ann Arbor in more than 36 years. Alumni were noticeably less enthused than their student counterparts. Classes at campuses in Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint were cancelled.
Update: Alumni write to the Michigan Daily, “Letter to the Editor: A yellow decision by the Maize and Blue.“
