Yes, there is a Tailgater magazine.
Calling the weekend activity “America’s fastest growing sport” is debatable, and so are their rankings of the top 20 tailgate colleges.
Michigan barely made the list, coming in at No. 19, beating out a very respectable Georgia Bulldog tailgate scene.
The list is largely dominated by the SEC. Surprisingly, the future soldiers at West Point come in at No.13.
“At West Point, the focus isn’t on the game, but the cadets…Tables are more apt to hold centerpieces and slices of Brie than kegs and brats.”
Big Ten rivals Michigan State (10), Ohio State (8), and Wisconsin (6), all beat the Maize and Blue.
“The Spartans make the list for the first time in a long time. After a heady last season landing them third in the nation, the Spartans tailgating will run rampant this year.”
Auburn tops the list, beating rival Alabama at No. 5. Coming off of an amazing 2013 Iron Bowl, the tailgating is sure to be great in Alabama.
